Cheap Bankruptcy Lawyer in Santa Rosa

Where did all the cheap bankruptcy lawyers go in Santa Rosa? Unfortunately, there were never many affordable bankruptcy lawyers in Sonoma County. If you have been calling local bankruptcy lawyers only to learn that many charge $2,000 or more to represent you in chapter 7 bankruptcy you are not alone. Many clients who call me have already spoken with several bankruptcy lawyers and lost hope until visiting santarosabankruptcy.us. After speaking with me and confirming my low $900 fee for chapter 7 bankruptcy nearly every client has retained my services and received the same discharge they would have received with an expensive bankruptcy lawyer.

How Can I Charge Less?

My bankruptcy practice is primarily centered in Sacramento, CA. After learning that many people in Santa Rosa could not afford local bankruptcy lawyers I decided to expand my client base to Sonoma County where I grew up until leaving for U.C. Berkeley. However, unlike the vast majority of bankruptcy lawyers who depend upon costly advertising to attract clients, I decided to launch a website and charge clients a fair price that was not inflated by advertising expenses. The popularity of this website, and my comparatively low fee, steadily increased its rank attracting more clients without advertising expense. Accordingly, I can charge less than other Santa Rosa bankruptcy lawyers because I do not spend a dime on advertising.

Does My Fee Include Everything?

No. Like most bankruptcy lawyers my fee does not include the court filing fee. I am upfront with clients on exactly how much their case will cost, and review all of the incidental expenses that accompany chapter 7 or chapter 13 bankruptcy. In chapter 7 bankruptcy clients must pay the court $335 to file their case. Attorney fees compensate the lawyer for their services, but court filing fees compensate the court and Trustee for administering the case. Unsurprisingly, courts need revenue to conduct their operations.

Chapter 7 and chapter 13 bankruptcy clients also need to complete credit counseling, but I direct clients to a provider that only charges $10. Lastly, clients should strongly consider buying a professional credit report. A thorough credit report will help us list all debts so that creditors don’t come calling afterward. Clients can buy their own credit report or we can order one at cost. We do not make a profit by ordering credit reports for clients; in fact, we take a slight loss.

If you’re ready to achieve debt relief for a reasonable cost call my office at (707) 200-6688. I can meet with you for a free consultation and afterward you can decide whether to retain my services.
